Description

80% Montepulciano and 20% Sangiovese for the classic Rosso Piceno Superiore blend. Aged in concrete and large barrels, it is a powerful, generous wine calling for tasty food and possibly a nicely assorted, playful company of friends. Will give its best if drunk young, on the primary fruit, since it is already so nicely open for business.

Sun Valley is located in the countryside of Offida, a medieval village born between the Adriatic Sea and Sibillini and Laga Mountains. The winemaker Silvano, the owner of the little farm, cultivates the native vines of Piceno territory: Passerina, Pecorino and Montepulciano, together with his family, following the biological agriculture. Making a quality wine means working in the vineyard and listening to the country. Few people are lucky to live and preserve the relationship between man and environment.
