Description

Rosso di Cerasa. Is a blend of Nerello and Perricone grapes. The fines and the elegant tannins of the Nerello blends perfectly with the richness of the colour and the authoritative vain of the Perricone. In a wine like the Rosso di Cerasa the sum of one single vine does not count the important thing is the inner balance between two different grapes to be interpretated and comprehended.

Francesco Guccione

"I take personally care of my vineyards, nearly 6 hectares cultivate according to the principles of biodynamic agriculture, a system that is closest to the way I feel about agriculture. The vineyards are located in Monreale, at an altitude of 500 meters above sea level, in the Belice Valley, a large valley that is a veritable treasure trove of high-quality products. One of the reasons why I have chosen the healthy agriculture, is because is the only way to fully express the terroir in the wine. I adopted the same working methods in the cellar, I do not add selected yeasts, I make no changes to the grape must, and I do not use any chemical or mechanical technology. I believe that only a natural accompaniment of a transformation process can become an exhilarating experience for those who make the wine, and for those who drink it." Francesco Guccione
